Easy Beef & Bean Chili

Theres nothing better than a cozy night in with this Easy Beef & Bean Chili. Easy to make and doesnt take much time, this recipe is great for busy weeknights.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can 15 oz kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can 15 oz black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can 15 oz diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: shredded cheese, sour cream, chopped green onions

Instructions:

Over medium heat, brown the ground beef in a large pot

Put in the minced garlic and chopped onion

Cook until the onion turns clear

Black beans, diced tomatoes, beef broth, chili powder, and cumin should all be added and mixed in

Bring it to a simmer, then stir it every now and then for 20 to 25 minutes

Add pepper and salt to taste

Serve hot with extra toppings if you want
